Maria Gets Baptized

 

When I got baptized I was excited to receive the Holy Ghost. I felt very happy and proud of myself because I made the choice to get baptized.

 

I loved Sister Dalton's talk. It made total sense that we can get baptized and then get the Holy Ghost but the Holy Ghost can go away if we do too many bad things. But you can get the Holy Ghost back by repenting.

 

In my confirmation blessing I felt very good and happy. I don't remember any words but my name was said. In the blessing I was told that God loves me.

 

I felt very happy that lots of people drove through the snow to see me baptized.

 

We had a party afterwards too. The best part was going in our room and eating our ice cream. My friends the Tolmans came, my cousins Diego and Speedo, and Jaden Czerwinksy and his brother.

 

It was my favorite baptism!! EVER!!!

My First Teeth I Lost

 

Yesterday I went to the dentist and got to watch a movie. I was watching the movie while getting my teeth wiggled out.

 

I had laughing gas!! I did NOT laugh.

 

But, I laughed at the movie. I felt a tingle in my mouth but was not scared.

 

The dentist sang me a wiggle song and was very funny. His assistant said that I was a good kid.

 

And I was so good that the dentist only paid us for one tooth!!!!!

 

The tooth fairy left me a cool water thing where you could dip jewels and they would change colors.

And she also left me a note. Now I know how big she is!! She's about the size of Eli's toy car.

 

I got a bouncy ball and a fluffy puppy from the dentist. It was a great day. Not great, AWESOME!!!

Yosemite Waterfall

 

We had a great time at Yosemite! We did 4 waterfall hikes!! It was fun. My legs felt tired.

We hiked everyday at Yosemite.

It looked pretty. There were trees, grass, bridges, waterfalls, rocks and the weather was warm.

We saw my favorite animal!!!! DEER!!!

 

We saw squirrels and birds.

 

My favorite thing to do there was take a hike on the really hard trail, Vernal Falls. The falls were very pretty. On the way we saw a fairy's hike to a waterfall too!

 

I felt happy there. I would like to go again because we wouldn't have to wait for breakfast!! The breakfast was waffles, yogurt, apples, oatmeal, cereal and mango orange juice. We made our own breakfast!! It was yummy!

 

 

The Lightening Thief

 

I like The Lightening Thief because it has Grover, who is funny, in it. Grover is a satyr which means he is half goat, half human.

 

Percy's scariest time monster fighting was the minotaur. A minotaur is half bull, half human. They are scary!!!!

 

Annabeth is daughter of Athena. She is a friend of Percy. She lives in San Francisco, California.

 

Percy Jackson lives in New York, New York. Grover lives in the woods.

 

Tyson is a friend of Percy AND he also is a cyclops. He's also Percy's brother. Their dad is Poseidon.

Tyson and Percy had been to Poseidon's Palace. Tyson has been there more than Percy has.

Junie B., First Grader Boo.... and I mean It

 

I read the book Junie B., First Grader 

Boo... and I MEAN It!

 

I liked it because she got apple. A funny part was when she wants to be Squirty the clown!! Clowns squirt water at monsters at Halloween. For Halloween I want to be Sleeping Beauty. My favorite candy is whoppers.

I love Tiana

 

I love Tiana because she cooks! And I like to cook.

 

I can cook Nachos. It is fun to cook nachos!

 

The movie is nice because Tiana becomes a princess at the end. Navine changed at the end. First he was a prince, then he was a frog, then Tiana turned into a frog....

Narnia

 

I like Narnia because it has Lucy and Susan. It is fun to read Narnia.

 

Narnia is a magical land where animals can talk and where the white witch lives.

 

Aslan rules Narnia. Aslan is my favorite character because He is King. Aslan is a nice lion. He unfreezed all the statues that the white witch freezed.

 

What book we are reading right now is The Silver Chair. I hope Jill will see Eustace again!

 

Lily and Sparkle

 

I like Zebras and Dolphins. They are cute.

 

Once there was a dolphin and a zebra. They liked to look at each other. One day they decided to play in the water.

 

Once the dolphin wanted to play tag, so the Zebra agreed. And so they had lots and lots of fun. The zebra could play in the water because she ate seaweed- green seaweed that helped her breathe under water.

 

Then the Zebra wanted to play duck, duck, goose- so they went to the bottom of the sea and sat down and played it with their dads. Then they both wanted to play telephone and hide and seek! So they did hide and seek first, and then they did telephone. They whispered "We are friends forever."

I like Princesses

 

I like princesses because they are nice. My sister likes them too. In this picture, they are singing Christmas carols. I like Christmas carols. One time I surprised my mom by knocking on the door and singing! And Eli was eating his milkies!

 

Princesses wear warm, cozy dresses at winter. They get presents and go in their castle at Disneyland.

Snow White

I like Snow White because she is nice. She loves people.

What I like about it is the part when she visits the dwarfs. She makes new friends.

I do NOT like the queen. She poisoned Snow White with a poisonous apple.

(Side note: I typed poison and Maria corrected me poisonous)

Kindergarten

What do you want to learn?

I want to learn about animals. Zebras, deers, lions, dolphins & horses.

What will be the best part of Kindergarten?

Singing.

What will be hard about Kindergarten?

Math.

What is your teacher like?

She is nice. She does lots of singing. She has glasses. My sister does too.

What will you play at recess?

I will play on the playground. And in the sandbox.

What do you want for your lunches?

Cheese-its, cheese & crackers, meringues, and that's all.

Princess Leia

I like Princess Leia because she is a princess and I like princesses because they are nice.

She is nice too.

My dad likes Star Wars because it has a lot of boys and my sister likes it too because it has Princess Leia.

I like both Princess Leia and Queen Amidala.

Peter Pan

I like Peter Pan because we were in a ballet recital. It was fun because I got to eat cake.

My favorite characters are Wendy, Tiger Lily, Peter Pan and Mrs. Darling.

My sister was a little Wendy and I was a little Tinkerbell.

I liked my sister's and my costume. They were pretty. I had one that had Tinkerbell on it and my sister had sparkles on hers.

I like ballet because I can skip. Skipping is fun.

Daddy's Graduation

I like Dad because he is fun. And funny. I liked Daddy's graduation.

Not the one sitting down though.

Daddy is sweet and I like Nia too.

But not Noa that much 'cause he kissed me on the lips.

I liked the bounce house because Mya was in it with me.

I like Mya because she is cute.

Barbie and A Fairy Secret

I like Barbie and a fairy secret because at the end Barbie and Raquel turn friends.

I like the movie because it has Raquel in it. She is good at riding horses. At first she was mean to Barbie. But then she ended up nice.

I like Barbie's costume and Raquel's costume at the end.

I like Ariel because she has red hair. I like red hair. It looks nice because it is down.

I like this picture because she is wearing a green dress and pink necklace.

If I met Ariel, I would say, "Hi. How did you turn into a mermaid?"

I like Anne of Green Gables because it has Diana.

Diana is like Anne. She is nice and beautiful.

My favorite part is when Diana gets married.

We had a tea party. We watched Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea. We wore beautiful dresses and white hats.

Cinderella

My sister likes Cinderella. That's because that's the color of Jeanette (the chipmunk).

My sister likes Jeanette because she is smart.

In Cinderella, the stepmother and stepsisters are demanding.

I DO NOT!!! like the stepsisters but I like one. Her name is Anastasia. I like her because she fell in love with a baker.

Beauty and the Beast

I like Beauty and the Beast because it is a love movie.

Love movies are like falling in love. I want to fall in love with E.

Belle's friends are Lumiere, Clogsworth and Mrs.Potts and Chip. And the Beast.

My birthday party was Belle. My favorite part of my birthday was cake and ice cream! I really liked all the make up sets I got. And Elanor outfit.

Love Deer

Deer are my favorite animal in the world.
